Время с момента размещения заказа до его выполнения. Когда планирование и производство работают на уровне или ниже своих производственных возможностей, время выполнения заказа равно времени выпуска (throughput time). Когда же спрос превышает возможности системы, дополнительное время требуется для того, чтобы спланировать работу и сделать заказ. Поэтому время выполнения заказа превышает время выпуска.
